We Are Hiring a Litigation Associate

Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe, a small plaintiffs-side litigation firm specializing in prosecuting consumer and financial fraud class actions and shareholder-derivative actions, is looking to a hire an entry or mid-level associate. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years relevant experience.

From cases involving false advertising, defective products, privacy and data breaches, and insider trading, our firm has represented shareholders, employees, and consumers for over forty years. We are looking for someone who shares that passion and sees themselves pursuing a career in the class-action field.

Successful candidates are assertive and self-starting with relevant litigation experience with a law firm, non-profit organization, or judge. Job responsibilities will include drafting complaints and motions, conducting legal research, propounding discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and court hearings.

We are looking for someone who has strong academic credentials. Applicants who have served on law review or completed a judicial clerkship are strongly encouraged to apply. Impeccable research, writing, and analytical skills are also a must.

Finally, as our practice is highly dependent on generating new business each year, we are also looking for someone who can think creatively about ideas for new cases, network with their peers, and generate potential leads for clients.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package ($120,000 - $160,000), commensurate with experience. Our firm is an equal-opportunity employer. Women, minority, and LGBTQ+ candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
